SCRATCH #1 - THE SPOKEN WORD
Have you got something you want to say? Ever wondered if you could write a monologue? Well now is your chance. Join us for a night of creativity, fun and expression as we challenge you to write, refine and perform a monologue to a packed audience of your colleagues.
The Howard Fine Acting Studio is proud to continue our series of Scratch Nights which are designed to provide artists with opportunities to challenge themselves and shine.
This event is open to both participants and audience members.
Participants arrive from 6pm. At 6:30pm, we announce the topic that will link the monologues together. Participants then have two hours to write, refine and ultimately present their monologue to an audience of colleagues. To help you with this task, there will be a guest writer (possibly more than one) in residence to give support to those that request it. At 8:30pm, everyone is invited in to the theatre to watch and support their fellow artists as they present their work.
There is no expectation to have memorised your monologue and all presented work is staged 'as is'.

For those wishing to be a spectator, entry is by gold coin donation. The doors and bar will be open from 7:30pm, and the performances will begin at 8:30pm.
